לֹא הִגִּידָה אֶסְתֵּר אֶת עַמָּהּ וְאֶת מוֹלַדְתָּהּ כִּי מָרְדֳּכַי צִוָּה עָלֶיהָ אֲשֶׁר לֹא תַגִּיד:

Translation:

Esther did not reveal her people or her kindred, for Mordecai had told her not to reveal it. [JPS translation]
