Genesis 12:10בראשית יב:י Original Text:וַיְהִי רָעָב בָּאָרֶץ וַיֵּרֶד אַבְרָם מִצְרַיְמָה לָגוּר שָׁם כִּי כָבֵד הָרָעָב בָּאָרֶץ: Translation:There was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. Suggested Discussion Questions:1. Migration is a common response to famine and other crises related to food, land and employment. What were the results of this migration? What were the results of a similar migration that happened two generations later?
